This information is for Break In 1, you can find information for the role in Break In 2 here.

Description

The Hyper is a one of the Kid roles in Break In. It requires 5 badges unlocked and has a permanent damage debuff like other kid roles.

Abilities

It begins with a Lollipop which gives speed boosts for a few seconds and heals 5 energy per charge, and in total there are 15 charges. When all the charges are used, it heals a total of 75 energy.

Location

The Hyper can be accessed to the left of the Shop in the Lobby in Break In 1.

Direction-wise, when you join the Lobby, and you're facing toward the trucks, turn to the left, and you will find the class near the dumpsters in the alley. If you do not have the required badges, it will say you need - more badges.

In Break In 2, it's one of the starter Kid role. A gallery can be found here.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • You automatically start with an item that can heal up to 75 energy, which can be used whenever necessary. It can also be used for its speed boost, which can be beneficial in circumstances where one needs to evade attacks.
  • When carrying the ladder, the Lollipop can both replenish energy and give the player a speed boost.

Cons:

  • The Hyper is a kid role, meaning that it has a permanent damage debuff.
  • In terms of energy, The Hyper's Lollipop gives less than the Hungry's Bag of Chips making The Hyper a less preferable role if survivability is your main concern.
  • On Day 1, if a Room Invasion takes place, and there are no Protectors, you may lose some energy from Villains.

Strategies

  • Try to conserve the Lollipop, as its speed boosts may be helpful later on in the game, as it only has 15 charges.
  • Don't use it all in one go! Save it for when you fight the Impostor and Scary Larry as well as for using the ladder, which takes away energy, as it will take exactly 5 charges (if you don't stop moving).
  • The Lollipop can also be used to travel faster in Day 4 to get into the Grocery Store faster or to get home faster when it's getting late.
